Hodder Barristers is the continuation of the law practice of J. Gardner Hodder, who has been practicing civil litigation in Toronto since his call to the Bar in 1985. He is certified as a specialist in civil litigation by the Law Society of Upper Canada. Guillermo Schible is an associate at Hodder Barristers. He has been focusing exclusively on civil litigation since his call to the Bar in 2005. Most of our clients' cases have a breach on contract component. We will consider taking such cases as wrongful dismissal, shareholder disputes, commercial oppression, director's breach of fiduciary duty, and insurance coverage matters, on a contingency basis-meaning that we are paid a fee only if we obtain recovery for our client.
Hodder Barristers is the founding Toronto member firm of the International Network of Boutique Law Firms ("INBLF"), an organization of highly credentialed boutique law firms, founded in New York City. Hodder Barristers is the first member of the INBLF outside the United States. We are located on the 22nd floor of Adelaide Place/DBRS Tower, 181 University Avenue (at the intersection with Adelaide Street) in downtown Toronto.
